Hi, we’re Monica and Jarek, the human team behind Organic Dog.
Monica is the creative heart, dog nutrition nerd, and accidental entrepreneur (it all started with a freezer full of blueberries and a spark of inspiration). Jarek is the behind-the-scenes muscle, builder of things, wrangler of packaging tape, and official dishwasher. Add in our pack of rescue pups (Lola, Casper, and the late but legendary Olive), and that’s what you call a small family business.

How It All Began
We started Organic Dog in Illinois with one goal: to create freeze-dried treats and handmade meal toppers that are both healthy and drool-worthy. Our journey began with a full house of dogs and a growing suspicion that “natural” pet products weren’t always as natural as they claimed. We knew there had to be a better way, so we got to work in our own kitchen, experimenting with wholesome ingredients, freeze-drying, and yes… plenty of enthusiastic taste testing.

Our Philosophy
We believe in feeding dogs the way we feed ourselves: with real food, real love, and zero weird stuff. Our toppers and treats are made in small batches using real, natural ingredients. Many are organic: fruits, vegetables, proteins, seeds, and herbs. Keeping things small-scale means we can focus on quality, freshness, and flavor in every single bite.

Rescue Is at Our Heart
We’re proud to be a family-owned business. Every order is packed by us with care, and every product reflects the love we have for dogs and the joy they bring into our lives. We’re also fierce supporters of rescue dogs, a cause that’s close to our hearts. We do our best to help however we can, whether that’s donating products, fostering, or simply spreading the word. Rescue dogs are incredibly special, and they’ve shaped everything we do. When you support Organic Dog, you’re not just buying treats. You’re helping underdogs too, as a portion of every order goes toward rescues in need.
